    Stephen founded Churchmanor in 1985 following a successful career with leading property consultants, Hillier Parker now CBRE. He felt there was both an opportunity and a need for a specialist property development company with in-depth knowledge of the East of England.

    This vision continues to guide the company and by adhering to its founding values has helped it grow and prosper.

  • Graham Humphrey

    BSc, MSc FRICS


    Graham has been a director of the company since 1989 and has over 30 years’ experience in the property industry. He has overall responsibility for implementing the company’s commercial development programme and group finance.

    A Fellow of the RICS, Graham holds a Masters Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Building Economics.

  • Martin Sylvester


    Martin joined Churchmanor in 1990 with responsibility for the pre-letting, letting and sales of the Company’s development projects.

    Martin leads the marketing team and drawing upon his 30 years’ experience in the Eastern property industry he has produced notable campaigns for the company’s business and science park developments.

  • John Harvey



    John, who has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, joined Churchmanor in 2000. He has rapidly established a strong reputation among partners for his project management expertise in the development of retail and commercial property.

    Before joining Churchmanor he was a partner at a London based quantity surveying firm Crump Newberry & Partners.

    Leon joins Churchmanor Estates from architectural and surveying firm Nicol Thomas Ltd in Birmingham after developing his expertise in project management as a quantity surveyor for global property and construction practice, Bucknall Austin.

    Matt Cloke

    BSc, MRICS


    Matt has over 20years’ experience in the industry working with a wide range of property types.  He particularly focuses on the pre-construction aspects of development, using a detailed and hands on approach to secure planning consents and legal and contractual aspects

    Prior to joining Churchmanor, Matt worked in house for both Tesco and B & Q as an asset and development manager dealing with large portfolios of operational stores, as well as surplus freehold and leasehold properties.
