The Newnham Building at Chesterford Research Park is now home to Microbiotica, Isomerase and Oncologica and the Emmanuel Building houses Superdielectrics, Illumina and two exciting new additions to the Park yet to be announced.

Julian Cobourne, head of Regional Offices, Aviva Investors, joint owners of the Park with Uttlesford District Council said “The completed refurbishment of the Emmanuel and Newnham Buildings and subsequent strong response from current occupiers, and other organisations within the Cambridge cluster and beyond has enabled us to look forward to the next phase of development at Chesterford Research Park”

Subject to planning a 60,000 sqft multi-occupier building fitted with a mix of laboratory and office space will be ready for occupation by the end of 2023/ early 2024.

He added “This is great news for startups, scale-ups and established firms who want to provide their team with an established community with best-in-class amenities and unrivalled abundance of green space.”

Chesterford Research Park is being built to a masterplan for around one million sqft of which approximately 350,000sqft is already occupied. There a variety of sites available for new bespoke laboratory and research and development buildings.
