Churchmanor Estates is delighted to announce that its Head of Communications, Emma Proctor King, has been appointed as a Volunteer Ambassador for Suffolk Mind, recognising her longstanding commitment to supporting mental health across the county.

The appointment reflects Emma’s continued involvement with the charity through fundraising, public speaking and community engagement. As a Suffolk Mind Ambassador, she will help represent the charity at events, champion the importance of positive mental health, and use her professional and community networks to raise awareness of Suffolk Mind’s vital work across Suffolk.

Emma has supported Suffolk Mind in a number of ways over recent years. In 2025, Churchmanor Estates proudly became headline sponsor of the Suffolk Mind Skydive, with Emma taking on the challenge herself and raising more than £2,180 for the charity. The event raised over £21,000 to support mental health services across the county, demonstrating the impact that businesses and individuals can make when working together.

Since becoming an Ambassador, Emma has also hosted Suffolk Mind’s International Women’s Day celebration, leading discussions with inspirational business leaders from across Suffolk on leadership, wellbeing and the importance of creating supportive workplaces.

Commenting on her appointment, Emma said:

“It is a real honour to become a Suffolk Mind Ambassador. Mental health touches every one of us, whether personally, within our families, workplaces or communities. Suffolk Mind carries out incredible work every day, and I am proud to use my role and networks to help raise awareness of the support they provide and encourage more conversations about mental wellbeing.”

Stephen Clark, Chairman of Churchmanor Estates, added:

“Emma has been a passionate advocate for both our business and the communities we serve. Her appointment as a Suffolk Mind Ambassador is thoroughly deserved and reflects her enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine commitment to making a positive difference. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to continuing our partnership with Suffolk Mind.”

Churchmanor Estates has long believed that successful businesses have a responsibility to support the communities in which they operate. The company is proud to continue working alongside Suffolk Mind, helping to promote positive mental health and support the charity’s mission of making Suffolk the best place in the world to talk about and take care of mental health.
