We are pleased to announce that they are preparing a planning application for the remainder of Zone 1 at Suffolk Business Park, Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Business Park is an exciting new gateway development at junction 45 of the A14 in Bury St Edmunds. The Park provides the opportunity for the development new strategically located employment units of a variety of sizes, and benefits from major infrastructure improvements including the new Eastern Relief Road.

The new application, which will be submitted to West Suffolk Council in the coming months, will cover the last available land on Zone 1 totalling some 15 acres and will propose a new scheme of 216,000 sqft.

This will comprise of various sizes of units from 20,000sqft to 60,000sqft which will be for office, research and development, warehousing, and production uses. The scheme has been designed in keeping with the high quality design and landscaping of the rest of Suffolk Business Park and will provide ample car parking along with EV Charging.

Already situated on Zone 1 is Festool UK and currently under construction is a new 32,300 sqft building for Avant Tecno UK. There is also a final plot which is subject to final legal negotiations with a major national company.

On the opposite zone, Zone 2, construction has just begun on a Leisure Quarte which when completed at the end of September will be home to a 3,832 sqft McDonalds and 1,872 sqft Costa. The two restaurants between them will generate in the region of 135 new full and part time jobs for local people. There will also be space for further food and beverage, hotel, and related uses.
