Chesterford Research Park
Cambridge
A 250 acre research and development park in a joint venture with Aviva Fund Management and Aspire (CRP) Ltd

Our recognised expertise in research and development parks led to Aviva Investors approaching us to take the lead role in the redevelopment of Chesterford Park. A key element of the new look Chesterford Research Park is the central support services Nucleus Building housing conference facilities, a restaurant, meeting rooms and a gym to enhance the Park’s appeal to occupiers.

The on-going development programme includes the creation of pre-let and speculative laboratories for both established and start-up businesses, broadening the base of occupiers.

Aspire Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Uttlesford District Council set up to promote and assist the district as a successful place for business to locate, has recently purchased 50% share in Chesterford Research Park creating a new partnership with Aviva Investors,  a global asset management business dedicated to building and providing their clients with focused investment solutions.

We are continuing to work with our partners on developments at the park ensuring occupiers can enjoy the most unique and idyllic surroundings alongside modern facilities and state of the art accommodation.

Churchmanor have been an intrinsic part of bringing the vision for Chesterford Research Park to reality. Their development expertise and collaborative approach have enabled us to create a Park that is of an exceptional standard, ideal for start-ups and growing biotechs alike, whilst retaining the superb natural environment that is so much a part of what we are. On a day to day basis Churchmanor manage and co-ordinate our contractors across both new build and refurbishment works, always mindful to minimise disruption to Park occupiers in the process. It has been a great pleasure to partner with them on this development and we value their continued input and expertise as we continue to grow.
