A 15 acre retail park in a 50/50 joint venture with Stane Park Limited

Stane Retail Park is a 15 acre development site situated opposite the popular Sainsburys in Stanway and was granted planning permission by Colchester Borough Council on 23rd August 2018.

The scheme which was completed at the end of 2021 and is now fully let will provide an exciting line up of B&Q, Aldi, M&S, Cook, Greggs, Furniture Village, Card Factory and Pets Corner.

Designed by leading architects Corstorphine + Wright the scheme is modern and contemporary in style whilst fitting into and complementing its surroundings. Careful consideration has been given to the landscaping to enhance its appearance.

Churchmanor have also paid for a range of highway improvements totalling some £2.6 million which have long been required to the Eight Ash Green A12 junction and the Western Bypass.

Handing over day to day control of a prized family asset was no easy decision. However, 10 years into the joint venture with Churchmanor, we have no regrets. Working with a company with such strong ethics, values and respect for their partners, meant that despite being in a 50:50 joint venture, we never had any relationship issues and more importantly no concerns. Would we do enter into a relationship with Churchmanor Estates Plc again ? Most certainly. They are not only expert in their field but most importantly they know how to involve their stakeholders in the joint journey to ensure goal congruence at all times.
